Macro for splitting info into several workbooks

    Hi,

I need help in splitting the information in the attachment based on the unique values of "DEALER_NAME", which means that for example for the dealer name "A 1 LINKS" a new workbook will be saved with all the corresponding data in adjacent cells only for dealer A 1 LINKS.. and similarly for other dealers also the same would need to happen. IT's best if also a folder name could be created by the dealer name and the workbook can be saved inside of the folder name of the Dealer.

Appreciate some support in developing a VBmacro for this.

    Thanks & regards,
    J

Re: Macro for splitting info into several workbooks

    Hi,

Many thanks for the revert with the code.. I tried the above code however, the excel sheet on which I ran the above macro with the updated path becomes 'not responding' and I had to end task after about 25 minutes of execution of the macro.. please let me know if I am doing something wrong?

"E:\CAF\" '<-this is the path i used for the above macro

    Regards,
    J

Your post does not comply with Rule 3 of our Forum RULES. Use code tags around code. Posting code without them makes your code hard to read and difficult to be copied for testing. Highlight your code and click the # at the top of your post window. For more information about these and other tags, found here
    Hope that helps.
