Dynamic Count If Formula with additional columns and rows.

    Hello-

I am looking for your help with a dynamic count if formula on one of my model summary pages. How it works is the user selects a customer and a date and I want to return the number of leases with that customer in that month (countif the customer name). I have attached a sample file with dummy data to use as an example.

On Sheet 3 I am trying to create a dynamic formula that would countif the number of times Golf Building appears in Jun-11 on Lessee Data. Keep in mind that my database will get more columns as time passes and more rows as new leases occur, thus the need for the dynamic range.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

I really think your data is not properly structured. You should put all your data in one sheet with all the columns you need. You could then use a PIVOT table to get all the information you want and there will be no need for dynamic range.
