    Using start and end times to determine elapsed time

    I posted this inquiry a few days ago but didn't get a chance to check back until today. Now the original post is buried several pages back with no resolution or responses so I decided to repost. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I am creating a tracking log to track a specific process and I would like to record the elapsed time on a spreadsheet. My intention is to have the txtStartTime field on the userform (frmLog) populate when the user selects the name of the person that does the fingerprinting. The txtEndTime field will populate when the user clicks the cmdLogEntry button. The cmdLogEntry button also writes the data to the excel spreadsheet. Idealy, I would like to calculate and record the elapsed time on the spreadsheet.

    Can someone please help with the vba code to accomplish this task? Or, if there is some other way to accomplish the same result, I'm open to suggestions. Here is the code that I have so far for writing the data to the spreadsheet and my workbook is attached:
