Here's my Issue,
My worksheet has 2 pages, one page has the data, I need the other one to have a kind of search function.
=INDEX('Quarter One'!$A$2:$J$1245,MATCH($A47,'Quarter One'!$G$2:$G$1245,0),MATCH($B47,'Quarter One'!$A$2:$A$1245,0)*0)
Is what I have been using, the problem is this only searches by one criteria, in this case A47 which is date of birth. B47 also has the surname in.
So I'd like the formula to check my data " 'Quarter One'!$A$2:$J$1245 " , find a row with the correct date of birth, then make sure it has the right surname, then return to me the information, which is spread over 7 columns in total,
The current formula DOES this, but doesn't check the second criteria, which leads to errors when there is multiple data with identitcal dates of birth.
This has been driving me mad.
