Customising a checkbox in excel 2003

    Hello!

I'm considering the possibilities to add a checkbox to my excel template. I'm thinking something like this:

I'm thinking of creating it through the Control-toolbar as I've heard that it is more elaborate.

I am very new to macro, but the action that I want the button to perform is quite simple.

When the button is checked, I want to hide column H and M, and when I uncheck it, I want them to appear again.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Hi,

Yeah I'd say the control checkbox would be best to use. To do it insert the checkbox via the control toolbar and then double click it whilst in design mode.

    Paste the following code:

Please Login or Register to view this content.
Now when you exit design mode and click the checkbox you'll see columns H and M are hidden. When you uncheck it they will be displayed again.

    Thanks
