    sorting multi-ranges

I want to create a single button that when pressed sorts 4 different cell ranges. I have no macro programming ability and the search function on the forums didn't work for me.

    So what I have is a block of cells like A4 - B48. I want this sorted by column B, largest to smallest value. Then I want to do the same to C4 - D48, E4 - F48, and G4 - H48.
I used the record a macro function and it works fine. the only problem is that it only works on a specific worksheet.

When you want a macro to work on any sheet, set the macro to refer to the current "ActiveSheet".
