Command button code not working

Hi everyone!

Good day to you.

I really have hard time, figuring out what is the code for my command button "compare" so it will really work and meet my requirement. If there is anything you can help with, pls help me.
I really need experts input, i really really need this program run so that my everyday work will be hasten and less stress controlling "find "function(my hands sometimes numb of repeating contro-find and highlight. Please, have time to take a look at the file. COMPARE 1.1 file is where i put my requirement or things that i want to happen. Example 1.2 file is just a sample worksheet where i copy data to the "macro file" when the macro works fine.

Hi, Here is a test book to try:

I got most of this code from:

I made a few changes to get it to work with your data.

I placed a new button on sheet(3) After you paste your info into col A Just hit the button and it will remove everything after the 8th char.

It will then take you to sheet(1) where you can press the button to mark your cells red.

You can reset the data by hitting the reset button.

Let me know how it works out.

hope you are good. thank you so much for the reply... i have tried it at work. . . the sheet3 all work. but i cant get the program work in the sample attach file. this is really the actual work now. hope you can help me to fix this. i really need your input.
when i run "compare" button it will send error and hang up...i dont know what to do. please help me.
