In Excel 2000, I have several cells that are pointed at a query in Access. Instead of me manually having to refresh the data is there a way to have this query auto-run so that the data is refreshed when the spreadsheet is opened?

Isn't that an option when you right-click them and choose Data Range Properties? (I can't remember that far back)

RomperStomper it is. Thank you, I did not know that was an option. Now one more question based off of this question. Since it can be automatically refreshed on open, we use a .pdf convertor Add-in for Excel is there a way to schedule that .pdf conversion? Or possibly set the conversion on a timer so that it auto converts to .pdf at like noon each day?
If you can run the addin through code, then you can also use the Workbook_Open event to refresh the tables and convert the workbook to PDF when it's opened. You could use the Windows Scheduler if you want that to happen at a specific time every day.
I am only a beginner with VB coding, what would the code be I used to have the queries refresh on open and have the pdf auto convert?
I don't know since I don't know use your PDF converter, I'm afraid.
Argh! Thanks for the info on auto refresh queries!
