    Macro to filter information

    Hi all,

I've read through as many threads to try to find a situtation similar to mine, but there are so many I haven't as yet.

I need to create a macro that should filter a range of data, by looking at whether person A has earned X amount of dollars at a range of locations. If person A has, then the macro puts one line of information into a new sheet per location earned. If only one location, then one line in the new sheet, if five locations, then five lines in the new sheet. I dont need the macro to put the lines of info for person A, B C .. Z into different new sheets, just the one.

I'll also need it to create headings for each column in the new sheet (but this can be dealt with once I know how to do the above).

Thanks for any help (in advance), I have been reading and trailing so much, yet I haven't got it as yet.

    Hi bigsleep55
    Welcome to the Forum!

Filtering information on an Excel worksheet and copying the filtered data to a new sheet is a relatively simple exercise in Excel or in VBA. However, without seeing your data file it's not practical to explain what you need to do.

Attach a sample file that's representative of your actual data and include a worksheet that shows a representative sample of what you'd like to accomplish.
