How to make one range equal EXACTLY another range including formats

I have this range.......say A1, B1, C1 and D1.

In this range are there are formulas and formats in these cells and i want to simply copy and paste them using somethign like the following

But unfortunately the only thing that gets copied are the values in the cells........the border and other formats in A1 - D1 are not transferred to A2 - D2.

Is the only way to do this via copy and paste?
