    copying data to another workbook

    this is my code but somehow its giving me an error '438' that the object does not support property (the bold line)

    and can i using it on xlsx files ? kindly help

    In order for this code to work, you first have to put it in a module.
    Second, you are opening it as READ ONLY so you can't change it.

    i have made it that this takes place after he hits an update button, now i want that once he hits the update button he cannot now edit/remove the data (say a1:m100)
