Hi John,
In Excel 2010, the user can send the active workbook as an attachment in an email message by choosing:
File | Save & Send | Send Using E-mail | Send as Attachment
My question is whether it's possible to do one of the following:
-- Prevent the user from doing that, or:
-- Detect when the user tries to do that, take action before they send the file, such as by displaying a warning msgbox if a given condition is not met.
Same question for earlier versions of Excel, except that earlier versions have different menu choices to send the file.
Thanks,
Greg
Hi Greg
Found this (see post #3) http://www.ozgrid.com/forum/showthre...t=63657&page=1 which appears to work in Excel 2000. Can't find anything for Excel 2007...don't have Excel 2010.
Hi John,
Thanks, but unfortunately that code won't do anything in Excel 2007 or 2010.
