Has anyone here ever created a Paid Time Off (PTO) calendar? I created a very simple one, but I'd like to get feedback, ideas or potentially, someone elses' completed product before I invest any time in this thing.
I've attached an example.
PTO in my company's case includes sick, holiday and vacation time in one "hour bank". Holidays are mandatory and usually known 10 months before the new calendar year starts. The accrual rate is a set number of hours every two weeks, it's higher based on employee years of service, and changes on the date of service anniversary.
Our PTO system starts beginning of this year, a major problem is that there is no simple way to see how many hours you'll have on a certain date due to the accrual process. My calendar spreadsheet does this, but doesn't do anything dynamic.
Also, sorry if this isn't in the right place, but it might require some programming to operate nicely.
