    Export multiple columns to single column text files including special characters

    If I have a excel file with 2 column one with numbers 1,2,3,............ in column A and series of letters in column B, a,b,c,............. Is there a way I can export it to a txt files for each rows ,

    first row as to display as and export as file1.txt

    1
    <a blank gap is important>
    a

    Second row as to display as and export as as file2.txt

    2
    b


    and so on till the last row


    i found a micro which does the job but it export only the first row

    The macro you have only works until it reaches the first blank line, which is why you're only getting the first few rows.

    Try changing it to:

    Sorry, sorry, just read your post properly ...

    As I read it you want each row in it's own text file with column A, a blank line and then column B.

    If that's right then try:

    I'd advise you test this on a sheet with a small number of rows, as it's going to generate a lot of very small text file.
