Force a text box to not move in excel 2010

    Hello Everyone !!!!

I have a strange issue and it only came about when I switched to using office 2010. I have a worksheet with several macros built in using visual basic. When I click on a button the macro runs this code:

    Code:

Please Login or Register to view this content.
    Code:

Please Login or Register to view this content.

Then to remove all filters I run this code which is another button/macro:

    Code:

Please Login or Register to view this content.

The code does exactly what I want it to do but for some reason now it takes all of my text boxes at the top and squishes them into the first column and row. It never did this before with earlier versions so I'm at a loss as to why it is happening now. I can email the form as I don't see a way to upload anywhere or maybe I'm missing that option somewhere? The text boxes at the top are thrown values depending on what is clicked on the worksheet and are currently set to not move or resize with cell expansion/contraction. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I'm just about bald LOL

    ndjustin20,

I created a test workbook with fake data and activeX textboxes. I set the textbox properties to not move or size with cells. When I filtered the data, the textboxes did not move at all. I am unable to duplicate your issue. Can you upload a sample workbook that is experiencing the problem?

    Hi ndjustin20

I don't see a way to upload anywhere or maybe I'm missing that option somewhere
To attach a file, push the button with the paper clip (or scroll down to the Manage Attachments button), browse to the required file, and then push the Upload button.

if you click on the Exp (Cell E7) Not in E7 but with scroll at the top it hovers above it. It will then take and move teh dates then if you click the black Reset button in the upper left corner that is where the problem is occuring. Any help is soooooooooo much appreciated!!!! thank you in advance :-)

    Hi Justin

Works as expected in 2007. Perhaps a 2010 user will look at it this afternoon. Good luck.

    Hey John,

Yeah works fine in 2007 for me too :-) Just can't seem to figure out why in the world it would stop working in 2010. Maybe I'm just better off saving in 2007 but I'm one of those people who still wants to know why it would do that so I can stop it from happening in the future also :-)
