    It is possible to call windows user and password screen from excel via vba ?

    I'm not really sure why you'd want to do this, but the below shows how to lock the computer or log off.

    Hi Kyle123,
    Great it works ! it is possible that a windows login screen can come up within excel sheet like in many website when we enter it pop up a windows user name and password screen. when we enter a right user and password the site launch other wise re- windows popup screen come up ? .Sorry if cannot make you understand...

    The reason for this i have created a excel tool i want to use this window user and password screen in it?

    No you cannot use the windows pop up screen like that - And there'd be no real advantage since the user is already logged into windows!!

    You just need to create a userform to mimic the logon box and keep a list of usernames/passwords that you can look up against in the workbook

    Its Windows and called from M$ Windows so no go there, and not sure what's going on Your already be inside the session so // not best move, you will not be able to capture other log in details this way, and pretty sure the Win Logon Passwords well buried in the session / domain if netWorked

    i would look at designing Userforms to do the task required, your asking to input, therefore Userforms are idea and look more or less the same
