Count Blank Cells and Sse Result as Variable

    I need help with code!

I am trying to create an HTML form with data from an excel spreadsheet. I need the code to start at cell "A11" which is the first row and column of the data in the spreadsheet. The spreadsheet is 18 columns wide and varies in the amount of rows. Column A holds the Residence ID and the rest of the 18 columns hold data about the residence. The next row (A12) could contain the next Residence ID or it could be blank. If it is blank, this means that the second row also holds data about the same Residence ID (A11). Cell A13 could be populated or it could also be blank. I need to be able to count the number of blank cells below the Residence ID number and apply this value to a variable. The code would process the data for that Residence ID and then loop back to the next Residence ID and start the process over again until the whole spreadsheet is processed.

How can this be accomplished with VBA.

    Hello Frenchie321,

    Wwelcome to the Forum!

You have not received a response because your post is unclear.

To best describe or illustrate your problem you would be better off attaching a dummy workbook, the workbook should contain the same structure and some dummy data of the same type as the type you have in your real workbook - so, if a cell contains numbers & letters in this format abc-123 then that should be reflected in the dummy workbook.

If needed supply a before and after sheet in the workbook so the person helping you can see what you are trying to achieve.

Doing this will ensure you get the result you need!
    Sincerely,
    Leith Ross
