Copying text box to different worksheet

Recently I was given advice on how to move specific cell contents to a different worksheet and automatically print the result. I would like to expand on that by copying a text box and its variable contents too. I have tried recording a macro and inserting the results in the original code but with mixed/little success. I have included the original code I was given and ask if somebody could modify it for me. The text box in the active sheet is named textbox 2 and the destination range on template 2 is B17

Re: Copying text box to different worksheet

As I havent had any replies to this query either its not possible or I I did not make myself clear. I will attempt to explain what I am trying to do... I have a workbook with around 400 individual sheets, each having specific details about a particular vehicle. I wanted to be able to select any sheet (vehicle), click a command button and have certain vehicle details pulled from the sheet, transfered to a template and printed in a particular format. Somebody from this forum kindly provided the code to do that, which I have included with my first post on this subject. However I found it would be useful to have a text box on each of the 400 sheets, and any info contained would also be selected, copied to the template and printed when the command button is clicked. I tried to record a macro and include it in the original code but found I was unable to get it to work correctly. If this is not possible could somebody let me know so I can try and think of a compromise solution.

    Many thanks in advance.

    Hello Nigel,

To best describe or illustrate your problem you would be better off attaching a dummy workbook, the workbook should contain the same structure and some dummy data of the same type as the type you have in your real workbook - so, if a cell contains numbers & letters in this format abc-123 then that should be reflected in the dummy workbook.

If needed supply a before and after sheet in the workbook so the person helping you can see what you are trying to achieve.

Doing this will ensure you get the result you need!
    Sincerely,
    Leith Ross

I have attached the "bare bones" of my workbook in the hope it might make sense. The Macro that requires modification is activated by clicking the "Specification Print" command button.

I am extremely grateful to you for resolving this issue. I integrated your code into what I had already and all the relevant info is printed perfectly via the template.

    Again many thanks.
