How To Change Prices In A Column

I hope that I am in the right place. I am starting a business and have been given vendor files by my wholesalers, which I need to use to import into my store (totally separate issue).

The files have columns for the pricing of the products (there are multiple prices). However, they are the prices I pay, so I need to change them in the file so when I figure out how to import the file into my store the prices I am charging are already set.

I basically need to do a 100% markup for each price. How can I do this all at once? For example, can I change all the prices in column A all at once? If so, how and what formula do I need to do?

Any help is appreciated.

I'd highlight all the cells that need updating and then run the following macro:

i've added a bit so that it eneters the previous values into the cells comment so you can keep track of the prices on certain dates

You don't need VBA - you can use PasteSpecial or add a helper column

to elaborate on the past special methos laura:

Enter the increase value in a cell and copy that cell

then highlight the column or cells and right click>paste special>multiply
