    Who is running Excel workbook?

I have a workbook which I run hourly via Windows Scheduler. I also open the workbook manually. I would like to determine which is the "owner", and alter certain "Auto_Open()" actions. I've not discovered the proper function to determine this using VBA (F1) Help.

Can you point me to the function I desire?

    TIA, Elmer

I want to know if a workbook is being run by Windows Schedule or by me (manually).

Is there a function/call to determine this?

The best way to handle that is to pass a command line parameter for one of the methods. If you don't know how to do this, see these examples. The last one is a shorter method than some others.

Please don't quote entire posts as they are already there and usually need not repeating. Thanks.
