    Problems with cell overflow

On the attached workbook, Sheet TED has two columns ( D & F ) with macro-aided combo boxes which return values to columns E & G respectively. When columns E & G are hidden (because they contain values needed by me/the process rather than the user) the values selected in columns D & F overflow into the next unhidden columns ( F & H). When those columns are unhidden I have no overflow problems. How can I prevent overflow into these neighboring columns/cells?

    Re: Problems with cell overflow

Not sure I can answer the question. But, maybe, as suggestion.

If the user doesn't need/want the data in these columns, it's only there for you to use, why don't you put it somewhere else? Much further across the sheet (and still hidden) or, possibly, on another sheet ... although that might be more difficult to align.

The problem is not where the hidden/unhidden columns reside but rather that when they are hidden overflow occurs in the unhidden column to the right of my combo boxes.

    Re: Problems with cell overflow

The 'Fill' attribute did help one column and the other is fine if I display the hidden field. The combo box/auto-fill capability does seem to be effecting the cell/overflow. I am going to call this issue good/good enough since I have more pressing issues to work out. Thanks for the help, Dan.
