Disallow Special Characters, Certain Numbers Using Data Validation through VBA

Dear Forum,

How do I Disallow Special Characters, Certain Numbers Using Data Validation through VBA?

I want to prevent the Range of Numbers beyond 6 in a particular Column F..
If I have a formula for not repeating or preventing duplicate entries in a Column, How would I do that using VBA?

And the Tool Tip or the Data Validation Text which appears can that be programmed too using VBA to change the colour to the TEXT making it BOLD or even get Dynamic Text..!!

Dear Snb,

I totally agree that the Title and the no of queries are more but they are actually in the same context as I want to get an idea of using the Data Prevention for Unwanted Entries but by using VBA and there would be typically 2-3+ and more scenarios and indirectly those many ways of expressing the same in VBA and so i happened to mantion that..

AS far as the TOOL TIP or the Data Validation goes its actually linked with the query..

Though the requirements are more but they are linked to Data Validation..

Atlease can someone help me with the Basic 2 requirements of preventing entries over Number N = 3 and disallowing TEXT in a numeric Column

The data validation example that you showed actually disallows the user from entering special characters using the excel spreadsheet and vba. Let me go through it in a lil more detail and see how i can help you convert it entirely into vba. We do have experts in the forum like snb, Andrew-R, daddylonglegs who too might be able to help out.
