Automatically Copy sheets in one workbook to create sheets in a new workbook..

    Hi There,

I am using Excel 2010 and I am sent a workbook with 10 sheets on it every week. I have to pair sheets off in the workbook and save them as different workbook files so I have 5 workbooks with 2 sheets in each. I then have to distibute the new 5 workbooks to the same people each week. I am trying to automate the process eg a macro or something? So I can just press a button (or a few buttons) and it will split the workbook into the five workbooks correctly naming each sheet and then send them on to the distibution lists.

Can anyway help me save 4 hours every week?

I can send through an example if you can help?

    Thanks

    Lee

Whats C& P? Don't use abbreviations in Thread Titles

I guess C+P is Copy and Paste.

Does the task involve just copying the worksheets onto separate workbooks and emailing?

Thanks for your response - yes, I receive the workbook with 10 sheets and I want to extract 2 sheets into another workbook, another 2 into another workbook until I have 5 workbooks. I would like them to be saved with the filename Headcount <Name1> <Todays Date>.xls.

On what basis the sheets need to be separated into the 5 workbooks? Is there some condition? How will the macro know which sheet is to be selected for each person?
