    how to copy formula incrementing sheet number

    :: confused:Hello everyone, I have this formula on a cell and what I need help on is to copy it down the column but to change the sheet number, I tried it by pulling down on the corner of the cell but instead of changing the sheet number it changes the H6 and I wanted to change 1121 to 1122 and so on, I hope I'm making sense and if so can someone help me please

    Try using the INDIRECT function.

    If the above is pasted into A1 on a sheet in the same workbook as sheets 1121 etc, this should copy down as required.

    The way it works is to use the CELL function to work out the row in which the function resides and then uses this to create a string which is used as an argument for the INDIRECT function.
