    Re: VLOOKUP to Macro

    Hi Roy,
Im trying to build something from a Spreadsheet that was handed over to me.
Did a search on the forum if I could find something similar to what I need but with no luck.
I can do Vlookup but that's not really what I was looking for.
I was hoping I could do this in the form of VBA. Any help will be appreciated.

    Hi Arthur,
My apologies on bumping this thread up. Getting desperate I guess, wont happen again.
    Thank you.

    This is what you need:

Please Login or Register to view this content.
Next time you need something, try recording the macro to see what code you obtain. Then, you can tweak it as necessary.

    Re: VLOOKUP to Macro

    @arlu1201
Thanks, this is actually pasting the formula on the cell.
Im trying to avoid to have the formula there. I copy and paste this column and when I do I get the NA# since it was in fact a formula. Seems this is a hopeless case.

    Thanks anyways for your help.

    Re: VLOOKUP to Macro

If you want to use VBA then I would use the .Find method, see the VBA Help files for an example. For more help post an example workbook

    Re: VLOOKUP to Macro

I understand what you are saying and I've read the forum rules thank you.
I have been trying to get help from here but without any luck hence I had to resort to finding other means.
After much waiting it is only now that I posted on other site and was given a response in an instant.
And I immediately closed this thread after resolving the problem so I do not see why you'd say I do not comply.
I was hoping Forum Admins will be helpful. Didn't get that here.
    But thanks anyways.

    Cheers!
