Save As in a certain file path

Hi,

I was helped yesterday with a code that allowed me to open the Save As box with a pre-determined file name:

Which worked great, I was wondering though if it is possible to add to this code something that will allow the Save As box to go to a certain file path like:

C:\Documents\2011\Quotes

As this will be the main place the worksheets will be saved.

Do you really need to open the dialog box? I use some code that performs the save as without any user input -

I'm sure the file path will work but (as I am no expert) not so sure if the file name will work, just copied it from your original post.

Hi Dave,

Thanks for your quick response, usually I would rather have a save button that does it all together, but from time to time the file path will need to be ammended before saving. Which is why I was given the code to generate the default name but opens the Save As box.

Sorry I don't think I can help then as it doesnt seem to be an option. You could try temporarily changing the default file path see link below -
