Copy Duplicates to new sheet

Hi

I am new to this forum and need some help with Macro. I am hoping if someone would be kind enough to help me with macro that identifies and copies duplicates in a given column to new sheet.

Sheet 1 is master inventory list, sheet 1 has Column A - Invoice Number , Column B Item Name
Sheet 2 New daily list Column A - Invoice Number

Compare 2 excel sheet for duplicates and copy entire row to new sheet

For Example
Sheet 1:
Invoice Number Item Name
123456 Computer
456472 Book
456531 Ipad
544568 Ipod

Sheet 2:
Invoice Number
123456
456454
545648
456531

End Result
Invoice Number Item Name
123456 Computer
456431 Ipad

Thanks Pike, really appreciate your help. the code you provided worked perfectly. it gave me a Run Time Error at first but i knew it was user error read forum and finally got it working.

The code gave me a new sheet with all duplicates and its rows. You are AWESOME!!!!. you made my day.

How to mark a thread Solved
Go to the first post
Click edit
Click Go Advanced
Just below the word Title you will see a dropdown with the word No prefix.
Change to Solved
Click Save
