    Horizontal to vertical

    Dear All,

Please I have been trying to convert the excel data attached from horizontal to vertical. As you can see, the six years are spread horizontally but I want to have only one column per time per with six years rows. Any help will be much appreciated.

    Thanks
    Godfred

    Hi Godfred,

I wrote come code a while back that does what you want.
See it in the attached. Your original data is on Sheet 2 and the converted data is on Sheet1.
I needed to attach the file that is in 2007/2010 format as it compresses your .xls file. The .xls was too big to attach.
Here is the Code I used to convert the CrossTab to a normal table.

I ran the above code from the immediate window using:

because you had only 1 Column (Column A) that was repeated.

I hope you can run the code on your .xls or have a newer version of Excel to use the Attached.

BTW - Change the word "Date" in B1 to a more appropriate column title.
