    Problems with worksheetfunction.mid

    Dear all,

I have a worksheet which has a column of date with dd/mm/yyyy hh:mm:ss format. I want to insert 1 column and get the month from it. Now I use MID function to handle.

However, I found no value can be retrieved? May anyone help me to spot the problem?

    Hello kw42chan,

VBA has a MID function. There is no need to use the WorksheetFunction version. Since you want to return the month as number, here is an easier way.
