Hyperlinks to Images

I have an excel worksheet that has employee_number in columns A1..A3000. I also have a folder of pictures for these employees. The name of the employees picture in the folder is employee_number.jpg. What I need to do is for each employee_number I need to create a hyperlink to their picture and store that hyperlink in my active worksheet. I have successfully performed this in an individual cell, but do not want to have to do this 3000 times. I need to create a macro or formula to do this an automate the process. Can anyone help with this.
