Search for Word and Copy Adjacent Cell(s)

Hello,

I would like to search for a word or phrase, copy the cell adjacent to it (this will be a date), and paste this date in a specified cell in a separate sheet. How would I accomplish this?

Read up on Lookup functions. VLOOKUP is the most popular, since most tables are searched vertically.

If VLOOKUP or other lookup methods do not suit your needs, please provide more detail on your problem and expected result. Also, including a sample workbook is usually very helpful.
