    Macro including a combined cell

    Hello everybody.

I am trying to make a macro in which I multiply one cell by other that is combined. This combined cell varies from cluster of rows to cluster, because in that group of cells I have the exchange rate from that day or days.
In the attached file you will see that I need to multiply row Q times row G to obtain row R. If the cells are not combined, there's no problem, but if they are, since the ammount of combined cells varies, the macro doesn't work, it goes for one cell in particular and doesn't multiply the value.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello Tunk,

Combined cells (merged) are always referenced by the left upper cell in the range. Change your formula in column "Q" to reference D2 as a absolute address like this...
    =$D$2-M2-O2

    Thanks Leith,

I see what you mean. Another question though. Teh ammount of rows are not always the same, or the rows themselves, each cluster represent a days worth of sales, so obviously they will be different most of the time. Does this mean I will have to update the formula everytime I'm done entering the sales for the day?
