    Merging files

I want a VB macro to merge the folleing input stuff into an output summary file.

    Input is :
    1. the SUMMARY workbook contains the worksheet 'LIST' which has all the list of STOCKs.
    2. The list of stocks metioned in the sheet 'LIST' are present in this folder 'tickers' with same names i.e stockname.xls.

    Output SUMMARY file should contain:
    1. Please check all the whether all the 'STOCK.xls'(eg.XOM.xls,jnj.xls etc) files have same number of ROWS or not.
if all stock.xls have sae number of rows then rule 2 as per below:
    2. I want the SUMMARY workbook to have a worksheet called 'SUMMARY' which will contain 'DATE' and RESPECTIVE 'CLOSE ' COLUMNS from each 'stock.xls' .

I have done a sample . Please find the tickers.zip file attached with this file.

    Thanks
