    eBay Calculator Formula Help

    Hi there

I am trying to create a formula that will give the total of the eBay fees based on the sale price.

The fees are as follows. 11% of the selling price if the item is below $50, or if the selling price is $50 or above they charge the 11% up to 50% ($5.50) and then 6% of the remainder.

I have the sellling price in one column - P3, and I can do seperate formulas for each of the above, however I need to create one formula so it automatically recognises if the selling price is less than or greater than $50 and works out the fees that will be charged.

I hope that makes sense and any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks
    Phil

Not sure if I've understood the breakpoints correctly.

If this isn't correct, please provide examples of payment and the interest you would expect to pay.

    For example, $10, $25, $49, $50, $60, $100.

    Re: eBay Calculator Formula Help

    Hi there

    Thanks for the reply.

    For example.

If I sell an item for $40 - ebay will change me a straight 11% as it is under $50 = $4.40

If I sell an item for $90 - ebay will change me 11% of the total up to $50 ($5.50) and then 6% of the remaining $40 ($2.40). Total fees in this case would be $5.50+$2.40 = $7.90

I want to be able to enter just the sell price in a cell and a formula will calculate the fee.

    Thanks
    Phil
