Combobox Populating via a list or directly typing

    Hi All,

I have a combo box (CmbContractor) in a user form, it is populated from a list or by typing directly into it.

The problem I am having is I have a contractor (in my list) who's company name is in capital letters and when I try to add enter a new customer with a similar name into the combo box it is keeping the Capital letter format.

    Example

    Existing Contractor = REC Excavations

    New Contractor = Real Earthworks

When I try to enter Real Earthworks, I get REal Earthworks

is there a way to fix this? I have been searching for a couple of days but am unable to find an answer.

    thanks for looking nighttrainrex

Try to set the MatchEntry property of CmbContractor into the FmMatchEntryNone

    Hi Nilem,

    thanks for the reply,

I just tried your suggestion & while it does work I was hopping to still be able to have it so the combo box populates from the list when I enter a letter, but if I change the 2nd letter (to enter a new name) it would it would change from upper to lower case if possible

Example - REC to Rea or Rel ect

    cheers nighttrainrex
