Get Date Created From File Properties

Hi, I would like to be able to get from the properties tab in an excel workbook the information on the statistics tab, I most interested in the created information, I have tried a couple options in the script below but one always returns todays date and the other returns nothing. I hilighted the lines in red below that I am using.
