How to copy the previous cell when it has a value

I want to create a formula that takes the same value of the previous cell except when the previous cell is a "0". In that case I want that it takes from the cell before the "0". If that is again a "0" than again to take the value from the previous cell until I get a value that is >0 and that value should appear in my new cell.

Re: How to copy the previous cell when it has a value

This is a "trick" formula, I use it a lot to "find the last value in a range of cells that isn't zero".

    =LOOKUP(2, 1/($A$1:$A$20<>0), $A$1:$A$20)

Just set the colored range to your liking. Don't use a whole column/row.
