Worksheet_CHange (ByVal Target as Range) when target is formula cell

I'm sure this will be obvious to most but I am slightly confused by the Worksheet change event concept.

If I enter value in A1 event triggers but how would you get the change event to trigger if say A1 gets its value from a formula, say the result of user changing values in B1

    Hello coasterman,

This is a paradox. The Worksheet_Change only executes if a cell has been changed by the user or by code. It is not triggered when a cell value is changed as the result of a formula. There is no reliable way to know when cell has been updated by a formula.
    Sincerely,

    1. Use code tags. Place
before the first line of code and
after the last line of code.
