Cutting/Pasting data from one pivot table to another

I set up a series of pivot tables to record class rosters for a few different classes. It worked very well for making the initial roster, but the problem I have is when I cut and paste from one roster to another (the data is cut and pasted from what one table is reading to another), the table that just gained a person works fine and the table that just lost a person won't update at all. In addition, the table that lost the person has its data location set to a single line from the worksheet, instead of the whole area.

Anybody have any ideas how to fix that?

Ok, did some more experimenting. Looks like when I cut a line and insert it to the same sheet, it's not a problem. If I delete the line it's not a problem. However, when I cut a line and insert it into another sheet it leaves a blank space (instead of collapsing it) and changes the pivot table data set from a big range to 'Wrk 2B'!$A$28:$Q$28 from 'Wrk 2B'!$A$1:$Q$59

Any idea why it rearranges the table and doesn't cut and insert properly between sheets? It works fine if I don't change the sheets.
