    Join data in two cells

    Sir

    With concatenate function I tried to join ref number and date column. But date is coming in digits. Please help how to see date in the joined cell.

    Try:

    =A2 & TEXT(B2,"dd-mmm-yy")

    Cell C2 formula: =A2&" "&TEXT(B2,"dd-mmm-yy")

    and copy down

    Just below the word Title you will see a dropdown with the word No prefix.

    Click Save
