Not Enough ShortCut Keys

I have an spreadsheet where the same cells on sheet A are selected each night but are pasted into different cells on sheet B referring to Monday to Friday. What I've done is a macro for each day but there are only four letters available with the CTRL key, so I can't use a shortcut for Friday. Any ideas?

Start using buttons instead of shortcut keys.

could use a capital letter that would mean ctrl+shift+letter
so ctrl+q would be a macro
and ctrl+shift+q would be a different macro

As a side note, I do agree with Mordred on this. Buttons are visual and there's nothing to remember. If you forget a shortcut key, or are explaining to someone new and they have to learn all of them all at once, it makes it more difficult to easily run the macro.

I never been to sure on this approach as I have used it once with my supervisor and everytime he did an update (monthly) he would ask me what the process was. Once I started using buttons I have never had those kinds of user problems.

Thanks for all the replies. I'm not sure what you mean by using buttons though. Still a real newbie when it comes to macros in Excel, hence the reason this site is so useful.

I did think of this, but when I tried the computer made a funny beep and nothing happened :-(

Instead of buttons you could consider the VBa Worksheet SelectionChange event to make cells simulate buttons.

Took me a wee while to work out how to find the 'button' as my friend was using 2003, but that's it sorted and working a treat. Thanks for all of the help.
