Help with Designing a Bill of Materials!

I recently put together a Bill of Materials for my company that uses a macro to automatically update based on quantities in a material list on another sheet. The macro hides all materials that are not used. I want to make this update more efficiently (instantly) so that the macro does not have to run everytime i click on the BOM sheet. I've attached the current version. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
