    Question Input Masks for Textboxes

Hi, I have searched though the Forms and haven't seen anything recent on this subject. All of the older posts say that there really isn't a way of doing this, but was wondering if Excel 2007/2010 have added this feature.

Basically I have a form that users will be adding dates and amounts into various textboxes and I was asked if there was a way to add masks so the users wont have to add the special characters like the '/' in date fields and '$' in currency fields.

Thanks for any help you can offer,

    Jeff

No, not as such, though you can use code to format the data after leaving the text box for example, or use calendar/date picker controls (though they have their own issues, especially if you have to support multiple versions of Excel)
    Good luck.

See the Calendar Form here and the Date combobox example
    Hope that helps.
