Scale to Fit - Width 1 Page

While in Excel 2010, I used the macro recorder to record what happens when I do this basic change.
Page Layout Tab > Scale To Fit >Width > Chnage Automatic to 1 Page and this is what I got.

My question is - what can I remove to get it to still work? Because I slimmed it down to this, and it didnt work.
