Conditional Running Totals with Pivot Charts

I am creating a pivot chart that has running totals and year over year data. When I create the pivot table with the running totals, the data looks like the columns labeled 2011 and 2012. I would like the 2012 data to look like the column in 2012 Wish (a conditional running total showing a running total in the cells that have data and blanks for months that have not yet occurred -- If the Date < 3/1/12, use "" for example). Doing this I can develop two line graphs, one for 2011 that shows the whole year and one for 2012 that shows the year to date. This needs to be a pivot chart if possible as I will be working with about 50 worksheets that would be updated monthly. Any thoughts?

If you can, attach a workbook with your data...

Here is a sample to outline the issue. My data is far more complicated than the attached with 70,000 rows of data. I also show a sample of how I would like the pivot chart to look (using regular tables and graphs). Thanks so much for taking a look.
