Excel Birthday Auto Email

This forum is just to cool. Though I do apologies to DGagnon for not understanding the Star concept as I hope I do now. I will pay closer attention.

Query:
I am the secretary for an Aviation Society and am attempting to construct a membership database (where Col b is the first name Col c is the last name etc) which includes birthdays in (Col. K).

My query: Is there a formula which continually monitors Col K (Birthdays) and auto sends a birthday greeting email on the day of the birthday (possibly multiple emails) using the default email program to the named person in Col B and Col C? My office system has only Thunderbird on it.

Inregard to getting the e-mails to automaticaly send, you will need to set up a macro that you manualy run once per day. but for the details of sending an e-mail from excel without using outlook, check out this post

let me know if you have any questions, it is a VBA solution, and a bit more complex than the previous question you posed
