How could you remove characters of varying lengths around a common word/phrase/symbol

Hi , any help would be mega appreciated ..I hope this is the correct way to add a Sample Workbook.. thanks

=MID(A11,FIND("-in-",A11,1)+5,(LEN(A11)-FIND("-in-",A11,1)))
and copy down

One way:

=RIGHT(A11,LEN(A11)-(FIND(" -in- ",A11)+5))
