How to count interior.colorindex in range?

Hi all

I'm trying to count the number of cells in a range that are highlighted. At the moment I got the below, but it's not working. I've tried all different variations of the test criteria but none successful. Can someone point out where I'm being a dumba$$

Alan - sadly it's not possible to just make up one's own syntax! You'd need to do something like this:
