    Create keylogger or similar?

Giday to all, I've created a spreadsheet called Footpath Task and at work we use this same spreadsheet in our network. Now the other people have the confident to add the updates ( like who completed the tasks and when)
I'm worried about they may stuff up the spreadsheet by putting in wrong formulas or deleted important vlookup.

The questiong I ask is it possible to create or update a notepad automatically whenever someone update the spreadsheet (Footpath Task)? So I can check the notepad and see what input they've done and if they did ruined the spreadsheet I can check the notepad to see their input and correct their updates in the spreadsheet.

I hope this is clear for you to understand what I'm trying to say.

I've did some search in this forum and I found one but it only worked for me but has no effect from other people even their computers have Excel macro enabled.

Lock the formula cells & add worksheet protection
    Hope that helps.

    Thank you for replying Roy.
There are some empty cell they have to fill in if some work orders completed by fill in some details and highlight some cells in different colour too. But sometimes they fill in the wrong format where the formulas cannot calculate.
So it may not be a good idea to add worksheet protection otherwise they cannot update the worksheets

You lock all cells that you don't want altering, e.g. formulas. make sure all cells that should be used are unlocked.

Roy, the cells that they can use can damage the calculation by putting in text instead of numbers by the new guys. There are so many new people coming to work............

    yogananda,

I've enclosed an attachement for you to see an example. I had to get rid of the rest of the sheets including Summary sheet to cut down the size of the file.

    Example.xlsm

    Thank you

    Hi

Try using data validation on columns O to Y so they can only put in numbers. If text is entered, you can customise the warning message they receive.
