Im building a small POS system for a friend of mine, and they are scaning items in with a barcode scanner. it has no functions other than to basicaly enter text. I am looking to trigger a calculation based on the text being entered into a cell without having to press enter, which is required to triger the Worksheet_Change event.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, if you require some more detail as to what i am doing, please feel free to ask.

If your issue as been resolved, please clearly state so and mark the thread as [SOLVED] using the thread tools just above the first post.
You can't do that as far as I know as Excel is in edit mode during text entry into a cell and during this time macro execution is not possible. If the text entry was occurring in something else eg an ActiveX textbox then you could make use to the change event associated with this control which does execute whilst entry is in progress
